Work with me.
I design and build digital products end to end, and I am taking on new work.
What the portfolio shows
Five pieces of work, each taken from a real problem or a real question to something people can use. PaperWatcher is a live public service for newspaper pricing. Proper Till puts a till in any browser. StorageInventory is an open-source Windows tool that inventories a drive and says when it could not see everything. Two evidence-led web studies answer why the Moon looks so big and why rain smells so good, each with a game of its own. One person did the product thinking, the design and the engineering on PaperWatcher, Proper Till and the two studies.
I work best on small, real problems: operational tools, internal systems, and products that have to survive daily use by people who did not choose them. Working software arrives early, and progress is reported plainly, including the problems.
